Ahuriri Estuary & Bird Reserve
Located just outside our holiday park grounds is a picturesque and fascinating walk. Ahuriri Estuary is one of the most significant estuaries in the North Island supporting a large interdependent community of birds, fish, mud dwellers and aquatic plant life.
The loop track (about 4km) takes approximately 1hr to complete.
The ideal time to take this walk is in the late afternoon when the sun is setting and birds are feeding.
Westshore Beach
Napier's popular swimming (and sometimes surf) beach is just 5 minutes walk from Westshore Holiday Park.
The beach has both Volunteer Lifeguards during weekends and public holidays, and professional Lifeguards over the school holidays. The beach is generally quite safe and relatively calm with few waves
Westshore Shopping Centre
Conveniently located just down the road and around the corner you will find Westshore shopping centre. Just a 7 minute walk from Westshore Holiday Park.
Here you will find a corner store, takeaway meals, cafe, chemist and hairdressers.
Ahuriri Village
Ahuriri Village is just a stone's throw from the park.
There you'll find trendy café's and bars, nightclubs, first class restaurants, extraordinary antique shop, Mediterranean specialty store, Napier Sailing Club and marina.
